I thought today I would compile a list of my favorite sites.
I have been trying to spend less and less time on the internet. I stopped doing Instagram, I don't have a Tumblr and I am sick of Facebook.
I have been spending my time harnessing my talents. In June I picked up the Latter-Day Saint Hymn book and taught myself how to play the favorite missionary hymn "Called To Serve". Now it's been nine months and I have been practicing piano everyday for sometimes an hour at at time. I have learned about 15 hymns and counting! Something that I never thought I would be able to do. It just takes dedication and time.
So, even though I don't go online as much anymore, these are my favorite websites that I always make time for and never get sick of.
This is my #1 because this is where I find all the recipes for things I make. It's a beautiful, user submitted gallery of recipes from all over the web. It's updated daily so there's always something new to see.
Some of my classes at school have Wifi and I find myself coming here and practically drooling on my desk. The food photography is always inspiring.
2. Humans Of New York
Second on my list is a site run by Brandon Stanton. He walks around New York City and takes portraits of strangers on the street. He finds the most interesting people and the portraits he shoots are incredible.
Some of my favorite portraits from HONY:
Brandon has traveled and done Humans Of Iraq. In fact, he is in Boston right now. Very cool guy.
And those are my top two favorite websites that I always keep up on! If you have a favorite website, please tell me in the comments and I will check it out!
